GreenGraffiti® special installations

Less is more, but bigger is better.
GreenGraffiti are ideal for decorating large floor surfaces for events and public or private occasions: we offer special installations designed to embellish and transform a space without altering the intrinsic characteristics.

The wow-effect is guaranteed by oversize dimensions, bright colors and site-specific graphics – specially designed to get the most out of the surrounding setting.

It’s also possible to design advertising murals with great street visibility, for an effect that is half-way between classic outdoor communication and street art.

PIAZZE APERTE - 2025

A new pedestrian area designed specifically for children, part of the “Piazze Aperte per ogni Scuola” (Open Squares for Every School) programme promoted by the Municipality of Milan, covering an area of 1,700 square metres, featuring playful shapes and bright colours to accompany the entrance and exit of Istituto Comprensivo Franceschi's students. This tactical urbanism project has given back to the community a section of road normally used for vehicular traffic, transforming this area of Via Muzio into a safe - and above all recreational - space for children and families, while at the same time becoming a new green "lung" for the whole neighbourhood, thanks to the installation of a special non-toxic compound capable of significantly reducing the level of nitrogen dioxide and fine particles in the air.

BASKETBALL PLAYGROUND - 2024

In the heart of the Cogne neighbourhood has come to life a new sports area, an initiative that is much more than a simple basketball court. This regeneration project, promoted by the Department of Culture, has transformed a time-worn site into a vibrant social space, part of a wider programme designed to revitalise the whole district.

The initial phase, which included a complete asphalt resurfacing and various building works, created the perfect canvas for a large-scale ground artwork inspired by the area - among them the mountains that embrace the city of Aosta, the district’s industrial past, and the characteristic roof patterns of the Aosta Valley.

Once completed, the artwork was coated with a special anti-smog layer which, through photocatalysis, breaks down nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) and helps to improve the city’s air quality.

Accademia Ligustica di Belle Arti di Genova

HUB-IN PROJECT - 2024

Walking through the labyrinth of Genoa's narrow streets was possible, for a few months, to see two unique works of art placed on the ground, which were reproductions of tapestries with geometric patterns inspired by some of the architectural motifs that characterise the historical lanes of the harbour area. The two artworks were created for the Accademia Ligustica di Belle Arti as part of the HUB-IN project, an European initiative designed to promote innovative cultural activities in old city areas. The design was conceived by two students from the Academy's two-year specialist decoration course and was then applied in a site-specific logic to the spaces of Piazza della Commenda and Piazzetta dei Fregoso, temporarily transforming their appearance.

SLOW STREETS - 2024

A redevelopment project that examined various areas of the S. Martino neighbourhood in Novara, adapting the spaces to a “slow streets” approach through both measures aimed at reducing traffic speed and the creative approach of tactical urbanism. The artwork was developed with the help of a group of students from several schools, with the aim of giving back to citizens some areas that had always been used for car traffic only. There were designed three different artworks (all sharing a common visual identity) which were installed at a road junction near the Pollicino Nursery and the Bollini Primary School, on the pavement next to the Negroni Nursery School, and on the tree-lined avenue that runs through at Parco dei Bambini.

PIAZZETTA CAVAGNET, QUARTIERE COGNE DI AOSTA - 2022

A pedestrian precinct dedicated to children will inevitably feature color. This street art work created for theMunicipality of Aosta brings a touch of creativity to the new square Piazzetta Cavagnet, inaugurated in October in front of the Lexert school in the Cogne district. The design, the result of a collaboration between the students of the Lexert school and those at the Classical, Artistic and Musical Lyceum of Aosta, blends certain suggestions made by the students with “industrial” elements that depict the district’s original destination. With this refurbishment operation, the grey of asphalt is replaced by colorful patterns and motifs, so that children can socialize in tranquility and safety.
